OMG with the biting!

He bites now. Then he looks up at me and smiles. Oh, he knows what he's doing allright! It's usually after he's full, and I'm still hanging around. Oh the pain. And those are just two bottom teeth he's got. What will I do when there's top teeth too? OUCH.

Loves spinach! Hates carrots!

Handsome boy ate a whole pile of spinach yesterday. Daddy made some of the green stuff on the side for dinner and I was eating it while he intently watched. Just for the heck of it, I gave him a little taste, expecting him to make that little face he does that is followed by a quick shiver letting me know "EEEW, mom that is gross!" (kinda like when I try to give him carrots) But to my surprise, he ate it right up and was looking for more. He ate so much of it, that I feared green poopies and belly aches so I took it away because he would have kept right on eating it!
It is so much fun discovering what my little man likes to eat.

Clapping hands. 

Baby boy is 8 months old. Standing, has seemingly skipped the crawling stuff. Two teeth. Loves minestrone. Claps hands. Still has green/blue eyes! Is getting baptized soonish (ok MOM?) We've retired the swing (a while ago) And the carrier (a while ago also) The excersaucer is still making baby happy, so is the high chair. Will look into a play pen shortly. Some issues sleeping soundly next to mama. Always wants the boobie. Crib time? Oouch. Hurts to even think about.
