Rockin and a rollin'

Guess who is a little roller now? Yep. Justin started really trying to roll on Saturday night and has been going steady since. It was so cute to watch him use his pudgie leg for leverage to try and roll over. When he figured that out, he then struggled with getting his arm out from under him. I came so close to helping him because my poor little guy was working up a sweat and getting all red, but just when I went to pull his arm out he figured out how to do it himself. It was such an accomplishment for him, he was all smiles!

His head is also much steadier as I hold him up. And he is now wearing size 3 diapers. (16-28 lbs) Much of his summer clothing is being used also even though I had planned on him being able to wear them by mid summer. I had to start dressing him in them otherwise by mid summer they would no longer fit. We're talking 6-9 mos clothing here! He's not even 4 months old yet, lol. I'm having a ball posting pictures with bloggers new photoblogging feature! Can you tell?

Justin update

So far, no tooth in sight. He still loves to "chew" on his fists (or mine if they are anywhere near his mouth!)
Justin is officially wearing 6-9 mos. clothing. So many of his clothes that were labeled 0-3 mos. and 3-6 mos. don't fit him at all. Good thing I went through all his new big boy clothes and realized he could start wearing them now. We went overboard with the clothes, too. There are so many adorable outfits that still have tags on them that he won't be able to wear! Most of his clothes will only get one or two days worth of use before they won't fit him anymore either. There aren't enough days :( I've been finding any excuse to change him into new outfits- ooh he spit up...gotta change him, diaper change...time for a new outfit! And pictures, they always give me a good excuse to dress him up. I'm having too much fun.
His wobbly head gets steadier every day. He absolutely hates tummy time and gets frustrated very quickly with it, but I keep trying every day for at least five minutes. As far as rolling over, he hasn't been doing much of that lately. All in good time. His next appt. is scheduled for June 2 I can't wait to see how much he's gained this time!

Lovin the new BLOGGER digs!

I was looking for a neater template and it just so happens that blogger has some! I have to do a little tweaking to it, but it looks alot better than it did, I think! Of course, soon everyone and their mother will have the same templates. Oh well.

The Justin project

I've started on a new project lately. I'm going to attempt to videotape Justin for 15 seconds every day for a full year. At random times during the day. So far I've caught him sleeping, laughing, crying, sneezing and babbling. It will be cool to look at next year. The hardest thing to do so far, I've noticed is to stop recording after the 15 seconds. But in order to keep all the contents on one tape for a full year, it's essential. Anyways, it should be fun. I'd encourage others to do the same thing!

The Poofy Eye

Melissa woke up on Thursday with her right eye nearly swollen shut. I kept her home from school to watch it and see if it would get better, but it didn't really get better. Friday, I kept her home too and called the doctor. By the time I hung up the phone she looked 100% better. That was weird.
