Justin's first real cold, and 2 new teeth!

Justin is just getting over his first "real" cold. As in, boogers. Green ones. Lots of boogers. And coughing. And red teary eyes. Poor thing. This, and two new teefers coming in make for a not so happy little one. I'm glad he's feeling better now.

"scrunching the nose" thing Posted by Hello

Cute stuff Justin does now

Today, Justin was eating his cheerios and I put my face close to him and asked, "can mommy have one?" and he totally fed me a cheerio!

He also makes that cute little scrunched up nose thing where he...well, scrunches up his nose and looks all cute. I seriously don't know how we haven't eaten him yet.

Almost forgot!

My genius baby also knows that buckles get buckled. He grabs both ends of the buckles on his high chair when they are apart and tries to put them together. AND, he knows that hairbrushes are for heads and toothbrushes are for teeth!

Late November Posted by Hello

Well, well, well!

I LOVE having a 10 month old! Just when I think he can't possibly get any cuter- he does. Justin's latest favorite thing to do is dangle objects out and wait for me to say "don't you drop that!" and then of course he'll drop them. And giggle. He's so cute when he giggles. He's also found the humor in farting. Joy. Scratching, hitting and pulling hair are also big this month. So much so that my husband turned to me the other night and asked "he doesn't know yet that he's hurting us, does he?" Sometimes the look on his face is so deliberate, that I wonder. I've tried taking his little hands and softly patting my face with it, saying "Niiiice, niiiice" and he seems to calm down momentarily. What else can ya do? He is a strong little bugger. He is crawling all over the place now- forward even! He stands himself up EVERYWHERE and will play there contently until he plops down to the floor.

The past couple of weeks have been a rollercoaster as far as sleeping goes. One night he'll sleep soundly through the night and the others he'll wake up if I move slightly on the bed. I'm really thinking that soon I will HAVE to start putting him to sleep in his crib. I've gotten so accustomed to his little body laying next to me that I guess I'm trying to hold on as long as possible. Before I know it- I'll be sending him off to school. I wanna hold on forever *sigh*.
